Before joining SILA Law Firm, Karim practiced at leading international law firms, including Allen & Overy and DLA Piper, where he developed recognized expertise in financing and corporate law. These experiences enabled him to advise major players on cross-border transactions in France, Morocco, and other African markets.

Committed to institutional, economic, and regulatory issues affecting the entrepreneurial ecosystem in France and Morocco, Karim regularly participates in think tanks, including the IIEG, where he contributes to the production of strategic content on economic and regulatory transformations.

A member of the Paris Bar since 2022, Karim is a graduate of EDHEC Business School (Grande École Program) and the Catholic University of Lille (Master’s in Business Law). He is recognized for his rigor, analytical skills, and cross-functional approach to legal and economic issues.

Karim practices business law, with a practice covering mainly corporate law, financing transactions, and strategic restructuring and transactions involving French, Moroccan, and international companies.

As part of his work, Karim advises a diverse client base—large groups, financial institutions, SMEs, and start-ups—in a wide range of sectors (industry, energy, new technologies, financial services, distribution, etc.).

Karim specifically assists his clients with (i) structuring and securing the legal aspects of their fundraising, bank or bond financing, and private equity transactions, (ii) their company formation, governance, restructuring, or mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, (iii) reviewing and ensuring compliance of their legal and contractual documents, and (iv) ensuring compliance of their activities with banking and financial regulatory requirements.
