Before co-founding SILA LAW FIRM, Pierre Deprez practiced at international law firms (Baker McKenzie, DS Avocats, DDG) in France and Morocco and founded the Franco-Moroccan law firm DEPREZ ADVISORS, which specializes in intellectual property law, new technologies, and economic law.

Pierre Deprez has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2016, after completing an LL.M. at the University of California, Berkeley (USA), a Master 2 in digital law and a Master 1 in international private law at Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas University (Paris, France).

Pierre is a member of the Franco-Moroccan Association of Business Lawyers (AFMAA), the Association of Data Protection and Digital Law Practitioners (APDND), the Association of Computer System Users in Morocco (AUSIM), and the Réseau Entreprendre Maroc.

Pierre Deprez practices primarily in digital law/personal data, distribution/competition law, and intellectual property law for a variety of clients in the IT, DeepTech, franchising, outsourcing, and cultural and creative industries sectors. Drawing on his past experience, Pierre Deprez assists his clients in conflict resolution and commercial disputes (in particular through mediation, settlement, or arbitration).

Pierre Deprez has a keen understanding of companies’ needs and assists them in protecting their innovations and structuring their economic and financial development by negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts. Pierre Deprez strives to provide practical and relevant advice by tailoring his services to the specific needs of his clients.

Beyond his core competencies, Pierre Deprez assists his clients in corporate law, labor law, and regulatory compliance, particularly with regard to foreign exchange regulations, Bank al Maghrib regulations, and all regulations specific to his clients’ activities.

Pierre Deprez is recognized for his ability to understand client needs, his responsiveness, his legal creativity, and his in-depth knowledge of the rules of law and best practices applicable in Morocco and France.

In addition, Pierre is committed to pro bono work, providing legal mentoring sessions to startups supported by Plug&Play and SB3S in Morocco.
